Went for UP Dating show 10/20/26. The show was great but otherwise not impressed.
I called on day prior, left a message regarding sitting together with other friends who had tickets for the show also. No one bothered to call me back. I called again day of & was told our tickets were merged but then when we showed up we had different table numbers on the back of our tickets. We went and talked to somebody else who did remedy the situation to put us all together at the same table
We were seated it took probably 10 minutes before a server came over before we got drinks.
In the meantime of waiting for our drinks we also ordered food.
We got our drinks were finished with those quite some time before we saw our server again, still no food.
When we finally saw our server a third time to ask about our food, we were told the kitchen was closed and he had no idea why we had not gotten our food yet. He went back to check & brought us our chips and salsa with no queso as ordered (came back out with that), the Mediterranean platter, and fried pickles. The sampler platter which was also ordered was not brought out as we were told they were out of chicken. Had we known sooner we could have ordered something else. No one ate dinner because we plan to eat there with our credits. So by the time the show was done we were very hungry even with small appetizers (3 between 4 people who had not had dinner).
We also ordered a drink on the menu and told that they were out of that too.
Some of us were out of our bar drinks and we're looking forward to ordering a third one which was not possible also out of water so nothing to drink at all for over an hour other than leftover ice cubes from the bar drink.
He brought us the tablet to pay but never showed us the totals if our food was actually taken off the bill or not so we're not even sure if we got to use our full credits we were supposed to have. He took both our vouchers told us we were even. He did mention that we are welcome to leave a tip on the table if we felt it worthy of doing so, however, that was also we were told included in the cost of our ticket. We actually had planned to but by this time we were over it all.
While he was very polite and nice when he was available to wait on us, we felt that if he'd followed up more often, he would have seen we would not have had our food and that whole situation could have been remedied.
3 stars because the space is decent and the show was fun. Without that, it'd be a 1.
Awesome show!! Des Bishop was a riot!!! Convenient location and plenty of parking!! Even delicious food available!! Great friendly staff!! Thank you Gary for your help!! Fabulous venue!!
